2019 Brand Focus: Women In Music


Annually, The Hustler’s Agenda champions a group of entrepreneurs in the creative industry.

As many industries continue to challenge existing paradigms of gender equity and equality, we see 2019 as an opportunity to shine a light on the creative and entrepreneurial women in the music industry and the stories and experiences of their hustle.

Our 2019 brand initiatives will take shape in many different spaces from brand partnerships to workshops to also equip this group. Given The Hustler’s Agenda is a female-led brand, we recognize the value of with creating moments with brands and initiatives to build opportunities and camaraderie to support their professional development.

Sony Music Entertainment x The Hustler’s Agenda Capsule

On March 8th, we present our partnership with Sony Music Entertainment to celebrate and recognize the paths of female artists that seek to defy the standard and rewrite the rules through their artistry.

In honour of International Women's 2019, Sony Music Entertainment and The Hustler's Agenda highlight 12 female music artists who are blazing their path through their artistry in an exclusive capsule version of the Annual II.

This collaborative capsule features the Annual II reworked with new quarter plan content flows, and highlights from the wise words of H.E.R, Ria Mae, Glowie, Charlotte Cardin, Zhavia Ward, Tenille Townes, Sasha Sloan, Lennon Stella, Rosalia, Koffee, Laye, and Upsaul, courtesy of Sony Music Entertainment.

This capsule was presented and gifted to a room of 80 invite-only female leaders and tastemakers in the music industry in Toronto at Sony Music Canada’s decibELLE #IWD2019 event on Friday, March 8th.
