2019 Brand Focus: Women In Music

Annually, The Hustler’s Agenda champions a group of entrepreneurs in the creative industry.

As many industries continue to challenge existing paradigms of gender equity and equality, we see 2019 as an opportunity to shine a light on the creative and entrepreneurial women in the music industry and the stories and experiences of their hustle.

Our 2019 brand initiatives will take shape in many different spaces from brand partnerships to workshops to also equip this group. Given The Hustler’s Agenda is a female-led brand, we recognize the value of with creating moments with brands and initiatives to build opportunities and camaraderie to support their professional development.

Sony Music Entertainment x The Hustler’s Agenda Capsule

On March 8th, we presented our partnership with Sony Music Entertainment Canada to celebrate and recognize the paths of female artists that seek to defy the standard and rewrite the rules through their artistry.

In honour of International Women's Month 2019, Sony Music Entertainment Canada x The Hustler's Agenda highlighted 12 new females acts at Sony, who are blazing their own path through their artistry in an exclusive capsule version of the Annual II.

This collaborative capsule featured the Annual II reworked with new quarter plan content flows, and highlights from the wise words of H.E.R, Ria Mae, Glowie, Charlotte Cardin, Zhavia Ward, Tenille Townes, Sasha Sloan, Lennon Stella, Rosalia, Koffee, Laye, and Upsahl, courtesy of the label.
